Character Design Practice Cast

This is great! The charecters are so origional and could easily make a great T.V. series! However, I find that the main charecter/hero looks a bit....dorky. More like the kind of guy who would flee rather than fight. I think it's the eyes that do it for me. His big eyes with the glasses seem a bit nerdy. Now, that could be what you were aiming for. I don't know I'm not the artist. The way the scientist is standing and is holding his hands totally gives of the crazy vibe. One thing on him: the end of his lab coat looks a bit unfinished. Either (and this is just my personal opinion) he needs feet or something to imply he has feet. He may be short, in which case it should flare out at the bottom where it is touching the ground. If he's levitating (I don't know he's a crazy scientist XD) there should be a drop shadow or something to suggest as such. The dog is great and the pirate is hillarious! The Navy officer is great too (why is he missing a hand?). Oh yeah, and the robot! I love the robot. He reminds me a bit of Wheatly from portal but more serious or devious <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Big Grin)"/>. Over all, this is great. I love the origionality and the fact that you are able to invent such rich charecters (which I couldn't do to save my life<img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>). Please don' take this offensively or think I'm being mean. I'm just trying to help.....sorry...(oh and sorry about the spelling....not my strong point)
